Nestled between two ridges just East of Altoona is a place called Sinking Valley. Here you will find
some of the best pheasant country in all of Pennsylvania, and here you will find Jim Boone and his
English Springer Spaniels.
A life-long hunter and outdoorsman, Jim has been involved with Springers and Field Trials for many years. In that time, his dogs have won many awards, and he has worked closely with lines that consistently produce not only field champions but great gun dogs as well.
It's the best of both worlds for these spaniels- The training and evaluation regimen includes
guided hunts for some on the nearby Hillendale
Hunt Club and regular training sessions on Jim's training grounds, grounds which were used for
the prestigious 2006 National Open
Championship and the
2005 National Amateur
Championship.
Jim's breeding program emphasizes evaluation as well as careful selection, and as a result puppies and started dogs are occasionally available. Your inquiries are welcome and we hope
